"These Streets" at ACT Theatre

Gretta Harley, one of the writers and creators of "These Streets" at ACT Theatre in Seattle, plays in the stage band during rehearsal Wednesday February 20, 2013. The show is a rock-and-roll story about women involved in Seattle's burgeoning grunge scene in the late 80's/early 90's. The show was written by Harley, Sarah Rudinoff, and Elizabeth Kenny, who took information from more than 40 interviews with Seattle musicians active between 1989-1994, and crafted a fictional narrative from their true stories. Harley was one of those musicians, and played music in Maxi Badd, Danger Gens, and Eyefulls during those years.
