Todd Van Horne, global creative director for football and baseball for Nike, shows off the new design and material of the redesigned Seattle Seahawks uniforms. The uniforms are much lighter and more form fitting on the outside and have an inner base layer of molded, compressed foam and hard shields to replace traditional padding. They feature a modern design that was inspired by the Native American influences like totems and thunderbirds in the Pacific Northwest. The blue is a darker shade, with lime green and gray accents, and the 'feather' design that runs down the side of the pants is in sets of twelve, symbolic of the '12th Man'.
