Isaella Abrego-Abrego, closest to camera, and Ermelinda Abrego, seasonal workers from Panama, carry baskets of ripe coffee up a steep hillside at Ricardo Calderón Madrigal's family coffee farm near the town of Santa Maria de Dota, Tarrazú. Calderón Madrigal, who sells beans to Stumptown Coffee and other companies, said he is able to cultivate coffee at higher elevations, where it used to be colder and more difficult to grow crops.
