Go play. Doesn't sound too hard, does it?
In an effort to get people moving and expose residents to the range of its programs, the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department will host "The Big Day of Play," from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Magnuson Park. Last year, about 5,000 people attended.
Among the activities: 3-on-3 youth basketball; flag football; boating activities; laser tag; and a dog agility course.
The event will also include music, entertainment and booths providing information on healthier lifestyles.
