2Cloudy Dasher J Madrigal10123
3La Jackye J Afanador6123
6Cm Undertainfluence L Gonzalez10123
8Bh Country Chrome J Matias5/2123

El Laberinto has been second in both starts at Emerald and seems due for a win. Rf Pistol Pete has won five of 10 career starts at Emerald Downs. Sissis Little Nipper beat the top pick in his last start.

3 5 furlongs, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000

3Twilight Harbor N Coddington7/2117
4Oh Glorious Day J Zunino10117
5I'm Katniss J Rosales8117
6Johannas Opinion R Richard8117

Pickherormiss drops in class and meets a very weak field. You Send Me could win if she runs like she did two races ago, but that is a big if. Twilight Harbor has some early speed.

4 51/2 furlongs, purse $8,925, 2-year-old, maiden claiming $12,500/$10,000
3Manny's Red Ty L Mawing5/2118

6Badrock Canyon J Gutierrez3118
1Hornfel R Bowen5118
2Corporal Agarn I Enriquez4118
4Kissem Kabluey D Lopez8115

Manny’s Red Ty finished second in a similar race in his last start and leading jockey Leslie Mawing stays aboard. Gavinator has been second or third in four straight races. Badrock Canyon also has a decent chance.

2Brewingintheblue L Mawing4118
3Red Ridge J Whitaker5118
6Betrbegone L Camacho-Flores12118
7Kid Christian R Richard10118

Monster Wave was no match for the talented Trackattacker in his last start, but was second-best in that stakes race. Bolshoi’s Bluff can improve with the drop in class from stakes races. Daytona Beach was second in his last start against a weaker group.

6 6 furlongs, purse $7,200, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $5,000/$4,000
6Chaching Pete J Matias7/2120

1Mr. Top Kat I Enriquez5/2124
2Brutally Handsome E Kubinova9/2124
5Salty Le Mousee R Richard10124

Chaching Pete has not had a good year but have a feeling he runs a big race, and his chances improve if the track is wet. Leadership was scratched out a race Saturday to run in this one. War Wizard will try to lead the entire way.

7 51/2 furlongs, purse $5,700, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500
2Grand Baylee J Rosales5/2123

1Kilauea J Whitaker6123
4Sovereign Bay C Doll15123
6Opening Buzz L Mawing6123
7Pete's Glory Girl R Richard9/2123

Grand Baylee drops in class and moves back to a sprint, which should help her chances. Sun City is still very competitive at age 10 and lost by a neck at this distance two races ago. Jewel S. continues down the class ladder.

8 11/16 miles, purse $6,200, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500

1White River Pirate G Mitchell8124
3Doctor Pav N Coddington12124
5Cane Seeker L Mawing4124
7Perusethenews D Lopez5/2124

Arraignment can rebound with the drop in class. Sharp Focus won his last race and scratched out of a race Sunday to run in this one. Givajunior Mint seems to be rounding into form.

9 1 mile, purse $11,650, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $12,500/$10,000
2Whiskey Miner R Richard7/2123

3Society Girl J Rosales15119
5Maggie's Special E Kubinova8119
6Diner's Diva J Gutierrez5123
7Seventyprcentcocoa R Bowen4115

Whiskey Miner loves this distance but will have to deal again with Lasting Rose, who beat the top pick in a good stretch battle in their last starts. Kenzie Carolina faces the girls again after having no luck against the boys.

10 6 furlongs, purse $14,800, 3-year-old, fillies, claiming $20,000/$18,000
2Strawberry Dawn L Mawing2121
5Quiet Wisdom G Mitchell7/2121

1Five Alarm Charm R Richard15118
3I Thought So R Bowen8117
6Lake Piru A Sanguinetti8118
7I Absolutely Will D Lopez6117

You can throw out the last start by Strawberry Dawn when she broke poorly going a mile. She drops in class and returns to a sprint. Quiet Wisdom is back in a claiming race after finishing fifth in the Washington Oaks. Copper City has been in decent form in Vancouver B.C.

11 6 furlongs, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000
4Hitchslap D Lopez7/2117
3Papa's Grandkids E Kubinova3117
7Ashley's Lexus J Rosales5/2117
1Sweet Louise R Bowen10123
2Secluded Rio C Doll20117
5Shes Icee Too L Camacho-Flores15123
6Georgetta Stone A Sanguinetti6117
8Platinum Kisses J Zunino4117

It’s hard to endorse any horse in this race but Hitchslap has been facing much better in Southern California. Papa’s Grandkids will get a lot of support but is still looking for her first win in her 17th start. Ashley’s Lexus was third in her debut.

BEST BET: Strawberry Dawn.
