First three horses listed in each race in order of predicted finish.

Thursday

First race: 4:45 p.m.

1 1 mile, purse $5,900, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
1Cane Seeker R Bowen5-2124
3It's Our Pleasure J Whitaker9-5124
2Making Fire L Mawing3-1121
4He's a Goblin D Lopez4-1121
5Who's Laughing R Richard5-1121

Cane Seeker moves inside to a much better post position and drops to the level of his last win, four races ago. His stablemate, It’s Our Pleasure, easily won in a small field of four in his last race, just more more than a month ago. Making Fire will be tough if he can handle this distance after running in sprints.

2 1 mile, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming $5,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
4No Claim Will Do J Gutierrez2-1118
2Alaazwho L Mawing9-2118
1Cats Ego J Zunino5-2124
3Stoneman E Kubinova10-1118
5Plan A L Camacho-Flores15-1118
6Indian John Hill D Lopez10-1118
7Shadow Code R Bowen4-1118

No Claim Will Do was scratched out of a race Saturday to run in this one. He went too fast too early in his first try at a mile and gets a new jockey. Alaazwho was claimed out of his last race, when a poor start derailed his chances. Cats Ego invades from Northern California and looks good against this group, but his trainer was 0 for 39 to start the year.

3 5 furlongs, purse $5,300, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
3Atta Boy Lucky D Lopez2-1121
1Direct Cost J Whitaker3-1124
4Brother Greg E Kubinova5-2121
SCROur Sella Scratched--
2Playsummusic J Rosales8-1121
5Decisive Fact L Gonzalez7-2121

Atta Boy Lucky was second in his last start and drops in class. He might not get caught with a similar effort. Direct Cost also drops in class. Brother Greg has a good chance to get into the trifecta.

4 5 furlongs, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
4I Thought So L Mawing2-1117
2My Mom's Carol I Enriquez5-2117
6You Send Me J Whitaker5-1123
1Dubai Kiss R Richard8-1123
3Oh Glorious Day J Zunino10-1117
5Bellesareno J Rosales10-1117
7Shes Icee Too L Camacho-Flores6-1123

It is interesting that I Thought So, a $24,000 sale purchase last year, makes her career debut at the $5,000 claiming level. She has been working out fairly well. My Mom’s Carol drops in class after two wide trips in Northern California. You Send Me has some early speed.

5 6 furlongs, purse $7,875, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming weight for age $10,000/$8,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
3Uptownfreddybrown E Kubinova5-2118
6Grindster J Gutierrez7-2118
7Tactical Strike G Mitchell3-1118
1Oregon Stater J Rosales9-2118
2Diamond Drop J Zunino10-1124
4One Cheezy Dude L Camacho-Flores10-1115
5Inviting Roman I Enriquez6-1118

Uptownfreddybrown drops in class and should do well against this group. Grindster also drops in class. Tactical Strike lost by a half-length in his last race but was 6¼ lengths in front of the third-place horse.

6 6 furlongs, purse $5,700, 3-year-olds and up, WCL $3,500
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
2Regal Valid R Richard2-1124
4War Wizard L Gonzalez8-5121
1Timeonurhands D Lopez6-1121
3Jade Road L Mawing5-1124
SCRFine and Rare Scratched--
5Heza Witch Doctor J Whitaker4-1121

Regal Valid looked very good in winning his last start. War Wizard is dangerous when he gets the early lead. Timeonurhands makes his Emerald Downs debut after running well in Phoenix.

7 6 furlongs, purse $5,400, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
7Ruler of the Tribe R Bowen2-1123
2Stolen Forum R Richard8-1123
1She'sontopyodeling J Gutierrez9-2123
3Snuffin D Lopez8-1123
4Sixteen Reasons L Mawing5-1123
5Cookies and Milk J Rosales15-1123
6Kiss Em E Kubinova5-2123

Ruler of the Tribe will try to atone for finishing third as the 6-5 favorite in her Emerald Downs debut last month. Stolen Forum returns to Emerald Downs, where she is normally competitive. She’sontopyodeling will be rallying late.

8 1 mile, purse $14,800, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $20,000/$18,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
4Dare Me Devil D Lopez9-2120
1Assessment G Mitchell2-1117
2He's a Cruiser L Mawing7-5120
3Surfliner R Richard5-1120
5Chu and I J Whitaker5-1117

Dare Me Devil did not like the sloppy surface in his last start, but he should rebound today. Assessment, the winner of the 2009 Longacres Mile, is in good form. He’s a Cruiser has won five straight, but this is a step up in competition.

9 5 furlongs, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
4Bell Wether R Bowen4-1123
3Musical Delight L Camacho-Flores7-2117
6Aliciasfirecracker A Sanguinetti3-1123
1Photo Safari J Whitaker6-1117
2Game Kick D Lopez5-1117
5Kanya Win C Doll10-1123
7Indagreenandbeyond R Richard5-1117
8She's My Favorite E Kubinova15-1123

Bell Wether makes her career debut for Tom Wenzel, who in previous years did well with horses making their first starts. Musical Delight was hurt by a poor start in a 10-horse field in her last race and should rebound. Aliciasfirecracker has been in the money in her past three starts but has yet to win in 15 tries.

Best bet: Cane Seeker.
