6Ketchum J Gutierrez3118

Monster Wave, an $82,000 yearling purchase at Keeneland (Ky.), has been working out well for his debut as has stablemate Christmas Caballo.Moby jumps up in class after losing as the favorite. He is the only horse in the field who has raced.

3 6 furlongs, purse $7,875, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming weight for age $10,000/$8,000

Magic Molly makes her yearly debut after being claimed for $7,500 in her final race last year. She was in the money in two of three starts and scratched out of a race Friday to run in this one. Lahaina Rose rallied for second in her career debut last month. Harborella had a speedy workout last week and should improve in her second start.

4 61/2 furlongs, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000

6Softwood D Lopez12123
8Make Some Noise L Camacho-Flores6117

Papa’s Grandkids used a strong rally to finish third, beaten by a half-length in her last start. An extra furlong Sunday should help her. Suddenly Adele drops in class again after losing twice in a row as the favorite. Trinistar can improve in his second start at Emerald.

5 6 furlongs, purse $17,850, 3-year-olds and up, maiden special weight

8Redseasalt G Mitchell10123
10Its Diva Time J Matias8123
11Snuffin D Lopez12123

Pete’s Glory Girl got off to a bad start and never recovered in finishing sixth as the favorite in her last race. The 9-year-old mare can rebound in search of her 12th career win at Emerald. Sun City, a 10-year-old mare, has been in decent form at Turf Paradise in Phoenix and has been in the money in 31 of 43 starts at Emerald. She’sontopyodeling isn’t real consistent, but could win this if it’s one of her good days.

7 6 furlongs, purse $5,700, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $3,500
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.

5Jade Road J Gutierrez3124

Corner Office can win with an effort similar to his last race, when he finished second to a heavy favorite. He’s All Heart finished second in his last race and was just ahead of a horse who returned to win Friday. Frisco Bound is in great form.

8 6 furlongs, purse $7,200, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $5,000/$4,000

3Marvin's Magic L Zacherle12120
6Making Fire J Gutierrez3120
7Hard Slider L Mawing5120
8Hip Hop City I Enriquez6120

Rezar couldn’t make up ground on a tough horse in his last race, but finished second. He is tough at this level. Dancing Yodeler should give his 128 owners in the Emerald Racing Club a good thrill. He seldom runs a bad race. Snooper Dauper jumps up in class after a nice win.

9 61/2 furlongs, purse $50,000, 3-year-old, fillies, Seattle Handicap

5Just a Love L Mawing8115
7Lotta Attitude I Enriquez3118
8Sunpenny D Lopez12116

City by the Bay looked very good in two starts in California last summer. She could be a class above the local horses. Strawberry Dawn returns to facing fillies after finishing fourth against some of the top 3-year-old boys at Emerald. Chu and You was a 3-time stakes winner at Emerald last year.

10 6 furlongs, purse $5,300, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500

1Strong Move R Richard10121
2State Capital L Mawing5/2121
5Decisive Fact L Gonzalez8121
6Lean Cozzene D Lopez5121

Sam Jam runs fairly consistently, and his usual effort should be good enough to win this race. Cat Mon Blu should improve again in his second start after a layoff. Strong Move will try to get the early lead.

BEST BET: Trick Or Retreat.
