First three horses listed in each race in order of predicted finish.

Sunday

First race: 2 p.m.

1 6 furlongs, purse $9,975, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $12,500/$10,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
4Diner's Diva E Kubinova9/5123
5Cheese J Gutierrez5/2120
3Mz Dyno D Lopez2111
1Katsthoughts G Mitchell9/2117
2Seattle Harbor L Camacho-Flores10114

Diner’s Diva was a well-beaten third as the 9-10 favorite in her last race, but think she can atone for that. Cheese finished just ahead of the top pick in her last race. Mz Dyno is an improving horse.

2 6 furlongs, purse $10,500, 3-year-old, fillies, claiming $10,000/$8,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
2Miss Fast Eddie R Bowen9/5117
4Tricky Person E Kubinova6/5120
1Point Da Harbor G Mitchell4120
3Cherokee Chelsea J Gutierrez8120
5Alta's Forever L Camacho-Flores10120

Miss Fast Eddie had basically no chance in her last race, when Tricky Person got an easy lead in a three-horse race. The latter will face more pace pressure today. Point Da Harbor is coming off a nice win.

3 1 mile, purse $17,850, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden optional claiming $30,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
5Timeless Pleasure R Bowen5/2117
1Wedding Kake R Richard3117
3Ee Da How L Camacho-Flores8123
2Ms. Parker G Mitchell9/2114
4Pickherormiss J Gutierrez4114
6My Special Eyes L Mawing7/2120

Timeless Pleasure, a $150,000 yearling purchase, hasn’t been competitive in shorter races but might like the longer distance. Wedding Kake failed as the favorite in her last race, but she got off to a bad start and might not have liked the wet surface. Ee Da How could improve in her second start at Emerald Downs.

4 6 furlongs, purse $14,800, 3-year-old, fillies, claiming $20,000/$18,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
5Lexie Arleen F Valdez9/5121
3Knight Club I Enriquez5/2121
2See My Tail Lites E Kubinova2117
1Simba's Sis J Gutierrez6121
4K K's Wonderwoman L Mawing9/2117

Lexie Arleen beat two in this field in her last race, and she could improve in her second start at Emerald after running in Northern California. Isaias Enriquez is back on Knight Club, and he rode her to a win two races ago. See My Tail Lites also has a decent chance in an evenly matched race.

5 11/16 miles, purse $6,200, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $3,500
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
1Barton Hill A Sanguinetti5121
3Whiskey Prince I Enriquez7/2121
5Double Shuffle R Bowen3121
2Cane Seeker D Lopez4124
4Our Eagle Boy J Whitaker12121
6Showmethemoneyjim R Richard2121

SCRATCHED: Camp Pendelton.

Barton Hill should improve with the switch from a sprint to a route. Whiskey Prince could get a very easy lead in a paceless race, and if that happens, he should be able to handle the stretchout in distance. Double Shuffle has been in decent form at Turf Paradise in Phoenix.

6 6 furlongs, purse $5,700, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $3,500
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
4Wedge of Gold G Mitchell5/2120
6Grand Baylee D Lopez5120
1Touch of Elegance J Matias8120
2Snackable L Mawing3123
3Port Wakefield J Whitaker9/2120
5Jordans Jem J Gutierrez7/2120

SCRATCHED: Miss Madavor.

Wedge of Gold lost by a head in her last race, and it was 5 lengths back to the third-place horse. Grand Baylee has had great success at Emerald, as has Touch of Elegance, who could wake up with the drop in class.

7 6 furlongs, purse $10,500, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $10,000/$8,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
2Come Away Home J Gutierrez3120
3Rainier Ice G Mitchell9/2120
1Chaching Pete I Enriquez7/2120
4Songandabullet D Lopez12124
5Ugottabcatty L Mawing8120
6Leadership J Matias6120
7Surfliner R Richard8124
8Direct Cost J Whitaker8120
9Big Bad Brown E Kubinova10120

A great race where a case could be made for almost every horse. Come Away Home drops in class after a decent race coming off a layoff. Rainier Ice finished a head in front of the top pick in his last race. Chaching Pete won six times in eight starts last year.

8 61/2 furlongs, C and G (colts and geldings), purse $50,000, 3-year-old, Auburn Handicap
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
1Del Rio Harbor I Enriquez9/5122
5Noosito L Mawing2120
4Stikine Slough F Valdez6118
2Redsolocup R Bowen7/2116
3Mebossman D Lopez4115

Del Rio Harbor, last year’s 2-year-old champ at Emerald, looked great in winning an allowance race earlier this month. Noosito beat the top pick at 6 furlongs last year, and the two stablemates will look to go 1-2. Stikine Slough has great early speed.

9 61/2 furlongs, purse $5,500, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming $5,000
PPHorseJockeyLineWt.
9The Prime Mover R Richard7/2118
3Private Ride I Enriquez5/2118
4Everydayimhustlin J Whitaker5124
1Money Cat E Kubinova4118
2Sorry Pal R Bowen15118
5Onetimeforolmark J Rosales15118
6Regazze Cat L Gonzalez20118
7Dakota Firefly L Camacho-Flores9/2124
8Plan A J Zunino15118

The Prime Mover is interesting. His only race was in a $75,000 maiden claimer on the turf at Santa Anita. He was badly beaten, but he doesn’t have to be great to beat this group. Private Ride might improve if the track is fast. Everydayimhustlin is winless in 15 starts, but was second in his last race, by far his best performance.

BEST BET: Wedge of Gold.
