2Big Fat Storm E Kubinova2118
4Popular Pick J Matias4124
5Shuddle N Chaves6124

Leadership goes back to a route and gets a jockey change. Tale Spinner drops in class for his second start after a long layoff. Big Fat Storm will try to lead from gate to wire while running in a route race for the first time.

Trinistar ran a big race to finish third after spotting the field several lengths with a bad start. Slewbie Doo drops in class. Ifsowhynot showed great improvement in her last race, finishing second.

3 6 furlongs, purse $4,400, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
8Bootedfromthebar I Enriquez2118
3Snooper Dauper J Zunino5/2124

1Chupetes D Lopez8124
4Asummerprospect C Doll20124
5Eagle Butte D Hoonan12118
6Myth Seeker R Richard4124
scrBrother Greg SCRATCHED--
7Krain Corner N Chaves15124

Bootedfromthebar is an improving horse and has as good of a chance as any in this very even race. Snooper Dauper has been in the money six straight times, but he seems to have an aversion to winning. Dead Eye will be rallying late.

4 61/2 furlongs, purse $5,975, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $4,000
5Bella Angelina J Matias2123
1Donna Sha Lei Lei R Richard7/2123

2A Courting Venture N Chaves6123
3Zenett I Enriquez4123
scrChromatose SCRATCHED--
6Shannon Marie R Bowen10117

Bella Angelina seems to win once a year, and maybe this is her day after seven-in-the-money finishes in 10 starts this year, but no wins. Donna Sha Lei Lei is an improving horse. Mattie Blue continues down the class ladder.

5 6 furlongs, purse $11,650, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $12,500/$10,000
1Davos R Richard3120
3Tapadero LCamcho-Flores5/2120
4Chaching Pete G Mitchell7/5120
2Rezar R Bowen3124
scrClemens Brook SCRATCHED--

Davos was third earlier this month is his first race after a 14-month layoff, and he should improve. Tapadero is much better than his last race indicates. Chaching Pete has won five of seven starts this year.

6 1 mile, purse $12,700, 3-year-old, claiming $15,000/$12,500
4Risky Road R Richard5/2122
2Barton Hill D Hoonan9/2120
3Southern Solution I Enriquez7/5122
scrBig Question SCRATCHED--
1Whiskeyonthehouse D Lopez6120
scrFinancial Officer SCRATCHED--
5Credit Line E Kubinova3122

Risky Road had a tough trip while in his last race while finishing fifth as the 2-5 favorite. He has a chance to rebound with a better trip. Barton Hill has been no worse than second in four starts at Emerald. Southern Solution has won four of six starts this year and will be the likely favorite, but he will face a battle for the early lead.

7 11/16 miles, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
1Doctor Pav R Richard7/2124
6Chu and I I Enriquez8/5124
4Adam N Ryan N Chaves5124
2La Capitana D Lopez8124
3Full Effect D Hoonan4124
scrSpending SCRATCHED--
5Windshadows L Camcho-Flores6124

Doctor Pav can save ground from the inside post, and he has had success at this distance. Chu and I should improve with a return to a route race. Adam N Ryan will be rallying late.

Best bet: Trinistar
