First three horses listed in each race in order of predicted finish.
First race: 2 p.m.
|1 61/2 furlongs, purse $6,725, 2-year-old, fillies, maiden claiming $7,500|
|3||Gold Trick||A Sanguinetti||1||117|
|5||Seattle Harbor||L Camacho-Flores||3||117|
|2||Symphony in G||R Bowen||7/2||117|
|1||Magic Gem||J Gutierrez||8||117|
Gold Trick has been in the money in two of four starts, making her a standout in one of the weaker fields of the year. Seattle Harbor started poorly in her career debut, and after falling behind by 24 lengths she made up almost 10 lengths while still finishing last. Symphony in G has done little in three starts, but her trainer, Doris Harwood, excels with 2-year-olds.
|2 6 furlongs, purse $8,925, 2-year-old, maiden claiming $12,500/$10,000|
|1||Inkey Mooey||R Bowen||7/2||115|
|4||Its Guiness Time||A Sanguinetti||9/5||118|
|6||Classic Harbor||J Gutierrez||3||118|
|2||Air Grinder||L Camacho-Flores||10||118|
|3||Tactical Strike||J Matias||5||118|
|5||Country Boy||I Enriquez||6||118|
Inkey Mooey takes a big drop in class from a maiden allowance race in which she had a slow start for trainer Harwood. Its Guiness Time drops in class and has the highest speed figure in the race. First-time starter Classic Harbor gets the leading jockey, Juan Gutierrez.
|3 61/2 furlongs, purse $7,775, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, WCL $7,500|
|4||Daisy Clover||J Gutierrez||5/2||123|
|6||Mum's Joke||R Bowen||9/5||123|
|2||Mattie Blue||D Hoonan||9/2||123|
|1||A Courting Venture||J Zunino||15||123|
|3||Cu At Sunup||I Enriquez||6||123|
Front-runner Daisy Clover faces a field without much early speed. Mum’s Joke has finished second in two of three races at this level. Mattie Blue is coming off a nice victory.
|4 1 mile, purse $5,250, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500|
|1||Zippin E||I Enriquez||8/5||123|
|2||Famous Jessica||A Sanguinetti||6||123|
|3||Miss Madavor||L Camacho-Flores||3||123|
|4||Have'n a Wild Time||J Zunino||12||123|
Zippin E is in great form and won a similar race two weeks ago. Famous Jessica ran a dud in her last race, but expect her to rebound. Miss Madavor was third against a field much better than this in a Portland Meadows stakes race two weeks ago, and beat the top choice at Portland last month.
|5 6 furlongs, purse $4,400, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500|
|1||Cat Mon Blue||N Chaves||3||118|
|8||Snooper Dauper||J Zunino||5/2||124|
|2||Eagle Butte||D Hoonan||15||118|
|3||Krain Corner||L Camacho-Flores||12||124|
|4||Dead Eye||R Richard||6||124|
|6||Harbor Star||J Whitaker||6||118|
|7||Timber Bull||D Lopez||8||118|
Cat Mon Blue ran a dud as the 2-5 favorite in his last race, but a return to the form of his previous two races should be good enough to win this. Snooper Dauper has one win in 18 starts, but has finished in the money in his past five races. Bootedfromthebar is an improving horse.
|6 6 furlongs, purse $4,400, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500|
|9||Royal Cantu||M Werner-Hagerty||5||123|
|1||Hollywood Holly||D Hoonan||3||117|
|2||Tesio's Theory||J Whitaker||20||123|
|3||Bullys Blond Girl||R Bowen||12||123|
|4||Donna Sha Lei Lei||R Richard||6||123|
|5||Mt Peak||J Zunino||12||123|
|6||Chips Indy Salsa||L Camacho-Flores||12||123|
|7||Our Union||I Enriquez||4||117|
Royal Cantu has the highest last-race speed figure, but you might get a decent price despite that. Zenett cuts back in distance after a couple of decent route races. Hollywood Holly, who finished last as the 3-5 favorite, is a threat to lead from gate to wire.
|7 6 furlongs, purse $5,675, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $3,500|
|2||Way to Go Lo||R Richard||7/2||123|
|5||Quack Up||L Camacho-Flores||5/2||123|
|7||Its Diva Time||A Sanguinetti||6||123|
|8||Stolen Forum||D Hoonan||15||123|
Way to Go Lo had a two-race win streak end after she started slowly in her last start. She can rebound against this group. Jacobita is in good form and will be well bet. Quack Up has won three consecutive races.
|8 61/2 furlongs, purse $9,975, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $12,500/$10,000|
|1||Forin Sea||I Enriquez||9/5||118|
|4||Faster Than Duke||D Lopez||7/2||124|
|5||Financial Officer||J Whitaker||3||118|
|3||I Was Made for You||D Hoonan||5||118|
Forin Sea has faced much better for most of his career. Faster Than Duke, fourth in the Emerald Downs Derby last year, drops in class and cuts back in distance. Financial Officer can get into the trifecta.
|9 6 furlongs, purse $22,575, 2-year-old, Allowance|
|5||Patches Pal||R Richard||7/2||115|
|3||Doc Duffy||I Enriquez||3||118|
|2||Morning Line Wiz||J Gutierrez||5/2||118|
|1||Joel N Jill||R Bowen||5||118|
|4||He's Zuberrific||D Lopez||2||118|
Patches Pal finished second to a horse in his debut who returned to finish third in a stakes race last weekend. Doc Duffy is an improving horse. Morning Line Wiz won a Portland Meadows stakes race by 6¾ lengths in his career debut last month, and leading rider Juan Gutierrez takes the mount.
|10 6 furlongs, purse $5,350, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000|
|5||Sotally Tober||D Hoonan||9/5||117|
|3||You Send Me||J Whitaker||5/2||117|
|1||Memo's Star||R Richard||5||117|
|2||Appealing Artie||L Camacho-Flores||8||117|
|4||Charismatic Hope||J Gutierrez||15||123|
|6||Sixteen Reasons||I Enriquez||10||117|
|7||Slamin' Kitty||A Sanguinetti||6||117|
|8||Step and One Half||D Lopez||20||117|
Sotally Tober had a rough beginning as the favorite in her last race. She looks good in this, but why is she put in a $5,000 claiming race after she was claimed for $10,000 out of her last race? You Send Me drops in class after fading despite setting a slow early pace. Memo’s Star has finished in the money in three of her past five starts.
BEST BET: Daisy Clover.
