The top older horses at Auburn’s Emerald Downs square off Sunday in the $50,000 Budweiser Handicap, one of the prep races for the $200,000 Longacres Mile on Aug. 18, the signature race in the Northwest.

Makors Finale is the 3-1 morning-line favorite in Sunday’s race, which is also at a mile. The Tom Wenzel-trainee was the 3-year-old male champion at Emerald last year and has won his first two races of the meet.
