First race: 2:15 p.m.

1 5 ½ furlongs, purse $5,350, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming $5,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Gold Chip L Mawing 8-5 124
4 Kyle J. J Rosales 5 124
6 Blazin Brown Boot D Hoonan 3 124
2 Thoughtful Guy Camacho-Flrs 5 118
3 Heavenly Skyknight J Zunino 15 124
5 Bid for Pride R Bowen 7-2 124
Gold Chip has never been better than third, never closer than 3 lengths at the finish and he has a low-percentage trainer. That said, he should like cutting back in distance and switches to a hot jockey. He hasa slight edge, but don't bet the house. Kyle J. is making his first career start at age 5, but has a good trainer in Doris Harwood, and a couple of fast workouts. Blazin Brown Boot was second at this level at Turf Pardise in Phoenix.
2 6 furlongs, purse $9,350, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $7,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
6 Clemens Brook J Gutierrez 2 119
5 Lonely and Free R Bowen 3 121
2 Single N Lovin It L Mawing 4 123
1 Lizzy Lass E Kubinova 9-2 114
3 Cookies and Milk Antongeorgi 7-2 117
4 Its Diva Time J Zunino 10 123
Clemens Brook is one of several in her who are in fantastic form. She has won three times at the meet. Lonely and Free was scratched out of a race Friday to run in this one. Single N Lovin It fits well at this level and is 2 for 2 at this distance.
3 6 furlongs, purse $5,675, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $3,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
4 Our Mrs Weinsteins E Kubinova 4 118
5 Roarified J Zunino 8-5 120
2 Outing Mail J Gutierrez 7-2 120
1 Angel Unaware L Mawing 2 120
3 Say What D Hoonan 15 120
Our Mrs Weinsteins drops to a good level and did well to finish second in her last race after being steadied and losing momentum. Roarified drops from the $20,000 claiming level, bu hasn't raced since April. Outing Mail will be rallying late.
4 6 furlongs, purse $17,850, 3-year-olds and up, maiden optional claiming $20,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
3 Southfork Pegasus J Gutierrez 3 115
4 Fist Full of Green Antongeorgi 4 118
6 Just Gonna Be D Hoonan 5-2 115
1 J C's My Brother J Rosales 6 115
2 Stryker Phd J Zunino 7-2 118
5 Evan Alrighty R Bowen 6 124
Southfork Pegasus might get a boost with the leading jockey, Juan Gutierrez, taking the mount. Fist Full of Green has had some fast workouts in preparation for his debut. Just Gonna Be has been off since April, when he was secondto a good horse.
5 6 furlongs, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
6 Don't Be Coy Roy J Gutierrez 5-2 118
7 Lipoma Fir E Kubinova 6 119
4 Sharper Knight L Mawing 3 118
1 Mattallie J Whitaker 8 118
2 This Lad Is Gold Antongeorgi 9-2 124
3 Reggiano D Hoonan 4 121
5 Glitterville Camacho-Flrs 15 121
Don't Be Coy Roy competed against the best 3-year-olds at the track in a stakes race, and three races later he has plunged to the lowest claiminglevel. Lipoma Fir cuts back to a better distance. Sharper Knight is coming off a nice win.
6 1 mile, purse $5,675, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $4,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
4 Canadia L Mawing 5-2 123
7 Matty's Sweetheart E Kubinova 4 112
5 Pickled Again J Gutierrez 6 119
1 A Courting Venture R Bowen 7-2 117
2 Sugar Blossom D Hoonan 15 119
3 Janie's Demon Antongeorgi 9-2 113
6 Like Nobody Else J Matias 8 117
Canadia drops to a good level, and has a high-percentage trainer (Bill Tollett) and jockey. Matty's Sweetheart looks like she would have a good chance if you can ignore her last race, which was horrible. Pickled Again seems unlikely to win, but can rally for a spot in the trifecta.
7 1 mile, purse $7,450, 3-year-old, claiming $7,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
7 Adam N Ryan D Hoonan 5-2 119
2 Cardinals Gold J Whitaker 8 122
6 Le Samouri J Gutierrez 2 122
1 Lookin At Gold E Kubinova 10 117
3 Tenatious Spirit R Bowen 15 122
4 Silver Road J Zunino 12 122
5 Red Colt Fortyfive Antongeorgi 6 122
8 Perusethenews L Mawing 9-2 122
Adam N Ryan was racing OK in California and is a good fit with this group. Cardinals Gold has been in the money in nine straight starts. Le Samoui will likely be favored, but he has been off for more than a month, with no published workouts in the interim.
8 1-1/8 miles, purse $65,000, 3-year-old, fillies, Stakes
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
3 Exclusive Diva J Gutierrez 2 120
6 Our Eleanor Antongeorgi 3 120
7 Regal Betty M Gutierrez 5 120
1 Stephiano J Zunino 15 120
2 Champagnecaviar J Matias 9-2 120
4 Talk to My Lawyer J Whitaker 10 120
5 Royal Moses E Kubinova 6 120
8 Whiskey Miner L Mawing 15 120
Exclusive Diva was upset in her last race, but she can make amends here in the top race of the meet for three-year-old filles. Our Eleanor ships in from Vancouver, B.C., where she was a stakes winner. It would be no surprise if she won. Regal Betty has a top-notch trainer from Southern California, and her jockey won this year's Kentucky Derby.
9 5 ½ furlongs, purse $5,350, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming $5,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
2 T W Is Flying Now D Hoonan 3 118
6 Warren's a Legend J Rosales 7-2 124
4 Kas Can Dance C Doll 5-2 124
1 Firedancers M G Sanguinetti 6 124
3 One Wild Knight E Kubinova 5 119
5 Sonar Express Camacho-Flrs 4 124
This one of the weakest fields of the year at Emerald. T W Is Flying has two seconds at the meet, and even though his past two races have been poor, he could rebound here. The field is so weak hat Warren's a Legend has a decent shot to finally get his first win in his 27th start. Kas Can Dance has been off since last year, but he showed enough to give him a good chance today.

Best bet: Canadia
