First race: 2 p.m.

1 6 ½ furlongs, purse $7,450, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $5,000/$4,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
4 Zagreus J Gutierrez 3 124
1 Majorca Gold W Antongrgi 1 124
3 Contreve J Zunino 5 122
2 Prince Giddyup L Mawing 6 120
5 Koala Beach E Kubinova 9/2 115
Zagreus drops to a career-low level after running second to a tough horse at double this claiming price. Majorca Gold has recorded two excellent speed figures in a row and has been great at the meet (three wins, a second and a third in five starts). Contreve drops in class after a horrid race in his last start. He has won five times in 10 starts at this distance.
2 6 ½ furlongs, purse $12,075, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $17,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
4 Dream Caller J Gutierrez 3 123
3 La Distanza L Mawing 9/2 123
2 Princess Campbell Camacho-Flrs 6 120
1 Jewel S. W Antongrgi 9/5 117
5 Way to Go Lo J Rosales 2 117
Dream Caller tries winners for the first time after looking very good breaking her maiden in her last race. The leading jockey, Juan Gutierrez, stays aboard. La Distanza and Princess Campbell are the only two not coming off maiden victories in their last race, and each is dropping a notch in class.
3 6 ½ furlongs, purse $17,850, 3-year-olds and up, maiden optional claiming $20,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
5 Havanna Red W Antongrgi 115
4 Leadership J Whitaker 115
2 Surgeon J Gutierrez 118
1 Payaso Grande D Hoonan 115
3 Emerald Knight L Mawing 118
SCRATCHED: Better to Be Lucky

Havanna Red takes a significant drop in class after racing in stakes company. He was second in last year's Gottstein Futurity, the top race of the year for 2-year-olds. Leadership is still looking for that first win in his 10th career start, but he does have three seconds and three thirds. Surgeon had a very nice workout on July 29 in preparation for his debut.

4 5 furlongs, purse $6,725, 2-year-olds, maiden claiming $7,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
3 Wingman Willy J Rosales 2 118
8 Ima Royal Prince J Gutierrez 5/2 118
6 Tichit Camacho-Flrs 8 118
1 Diamond Peak E Kubinova 6 113
2 Rusty's Revenge R Bowen 8 118
4 White River Pirate J Zunino 10 118
5 Socialfuhr D Hoonan 10 118
7 K P Brilly J Whitaker 12 118

Wingman Willy drops in class again. He did little after poor starts in his first two races, but he could be tough with a clean break. Ima Royal Prince was no match for a runaway winner in his debut, but his third-place finish makes him the only horse in the field to finish in the money. Tichit's trainer, Dale Koler, has won two of his four starts at the meet.

5 5 furlongs, purse $5,350, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
2 Moon Girl L. V. J Gutierrez 7/2 117
4 Our Pretty Woman J Matias 7/5 117
7 Nonni's Tops D Hoonan 6 117
1 Peakabootdream R Bowen 6 117
3 Heavenly Aneata Camacho-Flrs 10 123
5 Charismatic Hope C Doll 15 117
6 Laser Dance J Zunino 5 123
Moon Girl L. V. has shown some good early speed, and Gutierrez stays aboard. Give her a very slight edge in a tough race. Our Pretty Woman was second in her only race, but was beaten by 7 lengths. That was on a sloppy track, so she is still an unknown on a fast track. Nonni's Tops was fairly well-bet in her debut and could take a step forward.
6 6 furlongs, purse $10,500, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $10,000/$8,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
8 Heza Witch Doctor J Gutierrez 5/2 120
3 A K Racer W Antongrgi 9/2 117
4 Bleu Tarp Camacho-Flrs 5 120
1 Immigration J Whitaker 10 120
2 Goldledue L Mawing 7/2 120
5 Tapadero G Mitchell 5 117
6 Chicks Dig Him E Kubinova 8 117
7 Strawberry Topper C Doll 15 120
SCRATCHED: Mr. Mad Max

Heza Witch Doctor is a tough front-runner but will have a lot of pace pressure today and is no lock in a very tough race. A K Racer has been sharp all meet and should be able to handle the small jump up in class. Bleu Tarp might have needed his last race after a layoff and should be better today.

7 6 furlongs, purse $14,800, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $20,000/$18,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
3 Showme Yourfriends R Bowen 5/2 124
1 Marvin's Magic J Gutierrez 7/2 121
5 Dare Me Devil J Zunino 3 121
2 Advancement J Whitaker 6 121
4 Rezar J Matias 5 124
6 Hard Slider L Mawing 4 124

Showme Yourfriends cuts back to a distance where he has had a lot of success (two wins and two seconds in four starts). Marvin's Magic has had a great meet and is dangerous if he gets a clear early lead, but he could face pace pressure from Hard Slider. Dare Me Devil is red hot, but he is taking a big step up in class.

8 6 ½ furlongs, purse $17,950, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $32,000/$25,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
3 Sis's Sis J Gutierrez 5/2 119
5 Maggie's Special E Kubinova 7/2 114
4 Perfect Pie D Hoonan 2 119
1 Cielator J Rosales 3 123
2 Seventyprcentcocoa L Mawing 4 119

Sis's Sis looked great winning her yearly debut and looks poised for a repeat. Maggie's Special is coming off a big win and this race should set up well for a closer. Perfect Pie has been in the money in 11 straight races.

9 5 ½ furlongs, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Sasha B E Kubinova 4/5 118
3 Sicily Grace L Mawing 5/2 120
4 Snowbound Gina C Doll 8 120
2 Angel's Keep J Zunino 12 123
5 Bottled Lightning R Bowen 8 120
6 Smiley Mylie Camacho-Flrs 12 120
Sasha B disappointed as the 7-10 favorite in her last race, and she will be heavily bet again. Sicily Grace will be rallying late. Snowbound Gina has early speed, and the odds should be very good.

BEST BET: Showme Yourfriends
