Codys a Bobcat was scratched out of a race Sunday to run in this race, and he has finished in the money in five of seven starts at a mile. Power Strip has been in the money in his past three starts, and his only win was at a mile. Snow On the River rarely wins, but is usually competitive.

Hispania has had success at a mile (three wins and 8 of 12 in the money), and leading jockey Juan Gutierrez keeps the mount. Nina Win, like Sun City, is an 8-year old, and has won 10 times at Emerald, including twice this year at this distance.

Bella Angelina has a good chance if she can duplicate her effort from her last race, when she was second. Severed Ties finished less than a length behind the second pick in her last race, and she was 6 lengths in front of the fourth-place horse. Evelyn's Danceband has finished third in four of her seven races.

Send Silver takes a huge drop in class. He showed good promise last year but hasn't done much in three starts this year. He could rebound here. Cash Gaming drops to the bottom level after a rough trip in his last race. Sarbonne is well-bred and was facing better horses on the synthetic dirt at Golden Gate. He has a clear edge in Beyer speed figures and will likely be the favorite.

Best bet: Hip Hop City
