First race: 2 p.m.

1 6 furlongs, purse $5,400, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $3,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
4 Buds a Flyin Camacho-Flrs 7/2 121
6 Majorca Gold L Mawing 5/2 124
2 Marquetching E Kubinova 3 116
1 Gdanz Xpress W Antongrgi 4 124
3 Newaukum Creek J Zunino 8 121
5 Itsafineredwine J Gutierrez 9/2 121

Buds a Flyin has reeled off victories in bunches before, and he is coming off a convincing victory two weeks ago. Majorca Gold has two wins and a second in three starts at this meet, and drops in class. He is also a big threat in a tough race, as is Marquetching, who has run three consecutive good races.

2 6 furlongs, purse $6,400, 3-year-olds, maiden claiming $7,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
5 Decarchy Cocktail J Gutierrez 2 122
1 Mischievous Myth D Hoonan 7/2 122
6 Spending J Whitaker 4 122
2 Laachem J Rosales 20 122
3 Restless Gold L Mawing 10 122
4 What's the Plan E Kubinova 9/2 117
7 Taylor Rapid R Bowen 6 122
After two strong races to start his career, Decarchy Cocktail is ready to get his first win. Mischievous Myth was second in his career debut at odds of 5-1. Spending rallied nicely for second in his career debut.
3 6 furlongs, purse $8,500, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $12,500/$10,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Royal Cantu Camacho-Flrs 4 123
6 Kamilche Road L Mawing 8/5 123
7 Semele R Bowen 9/2 117
2 English Lace W Antongrgi 5 117
3 Sea of Choices D Hoonan 15 120
4 La Distanza M Anderson 6 123
5 Special Buttons J Zunino 10 117

Royal Cantu was fourth despite getting a wide trip from the No. 9 post in his last race, when taking the big drop into a maiden-claiming race. He could get a much better trip with a good break from the inside post. Kamilche Road beat the top pick in his last race and should be the favorite again today. Semele showed a lot of promise as a 2-year-old and takes a big drop in class after three poor races this year.

4 1 mile, purse $5,400, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $3,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
5 Doctor Pav M Anderson 7/2 124
4 Bad as Can Be J Matias 6 124
9 Dance Chief E Kubinova 3 119
1 Cresent McGain Camacho-Flrs 6 124
2 Musical Trick J Gutierrez 10 124
3 Warren's Allstar D Hoonan 8 124
6 Overtime Victory R Bowen 10 124
7 Sarganis G Mitchell 5 124
8 Givajunior Mint J Rosales 8 124
This is a great handicapping race, as you can make a decent case for almost every horse in it. Doctor Pav ran a great race in his last race, and a repeat performance would make him tough. Bad as Can Be has won twice at this distance at this meet. Dance Chief was running against better at Golden Gate Fields, and trainer Tim McCanna takes over after claiming him for $4,000 out of his last race.
5 6 furlongs, purse $5,400, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $3,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
6 Up Your Plan J Gutierrez 7/2 123
3 Alittlebitfamous E Kubinova 5/2 118
1 Lafayette Star D Hoonan 3 123
2 Pete's Glory Girl R Bowen 5 123
4 Known as Lu J Torres 9/2 123
5 Music Is My Life Camacho-Flrs 15 123
SCRATCHED: Feels Like Rain

Up Your Plan has been great at this meet, with two wins and three seconds in five starts. Alittlebitfamous takes a plunge in class after facing a very good group of $10,000 claimers in her last race. Lafayette Star has two wins at the meet.

6 6 furlongs, purse $4,200, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
9 Cash Gaming J Gutierrez 3 121
1 Run Atom J Rosales 10 115
3 Taphar J Matias 9/2 124
2 Camp Pendleton J Zunino 12 121
4 Genuine Gem L Mawing 5 124
5 Kasino Man M Anderson 10 121
6 This Lad Is Gold W Antongrgi 8 124
7 Kodaroo Camacho-Flrs 7/2 124
8 Hollow the Gold R Bowen 6 121
Cash Gaming drops into a winning spot. Run Atom takes a drop in class and should improve. Taphar was a distant second in his last race behind Our Marshall Cahill, who returned to win again last week.
7 1 mile, purse $7,100, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $5,000/$4,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
6 Atta Lora E Kubinova 3 113
1 Denim and Diamonds W Antngrgi 5 119
2 Nina Win G Mitchell 5/2 119
3 Have'n a Wild Time J Matias 9/2 116
4 Hispania J Gutierrez 6 119
5 Cablegram R Bowen 20 119
7 Wedge of Gold Camcho-Flrs 6 119
8 Mysincircus D Hoonan 12 121
In another tough race, Atta Lora stretches out to a mile after losing to two red-hot horses in sprints. Denim and Diamonds has two seconds and a third in three starts at this distance. Nina Win will be rolling late.
8 6 ½ furlongs, purse $18,000, 3-year-olds and up, Allowance
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Cat On Base J Whitaker 9/5 124
4 Newfound Gold L Mawing 4 120
5 Polish Dollar W Antongrgi 5/2 124
2 Marvin's Magic J Gutierrez 9/2 124
3 Amazing Legacy G Mitchell 7/2 124
Cat On Base has been one of the top horses of the meet with three big wins, but he is no lock today as he faces pace pressure and other hot horses. Newfound Gold might be in a good spot if he can find a nice spot right behind the fast pace. Polish Dollar has won eight times at Emerald and is coming off an impressive win.
9 6 furlongs, purse $5,000, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
6 Chickasaw Park Camacho-Flrs 8/5 122
3 Country Square J Whitaker 8 124
1 Kool Comic R Bowen 5/2 122
2 Mufaajy L Mawing 10 122
4 Passion Lives Here W Antongrgi 6 122
5 Deputy Allstar J Gutierrez 8 122
7 Ivory Man J Zunino 6 122
At age 10, Chickasaw Park runs one good race after another. He has a good chance to get his 14th win at Emerald Downs. Country Square is versatile and rarely runs a bad race. Kool Comic also has a decent shot to win in a good group for this level.
