First race: 2 p.m.

1 1 mile, purse $7,400, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $7,500

4 Wings of Pegasus J Matias 7/2 123
5 Whiskey Miner Camacho-Flrs 5/2 117
1 Matty's Sweetheart E Kubinova 4 112
2 She's Tops L Mawing 6 114
3 Our Mrs Weinsteins J Gutierrez 3 123
6 Fiesty Lass G Mitchell 8 123
This is a very tough race, and a good case could be made for most of them. Wings of Pegasus likes this distance, and although she seems better on the synthetic dirt at Golden Gate Fields outside San Francisco, she seems to be rounding into form here with a win in her last race. Whiskey Miner won by 7 lengths in her last race while running a mile for the first time. Matty's Sweetheart is a gate-to-wire threat.
2 6 ½ furlongs, purse $6,400, 3-year-old, fillies, maiden claiming $7,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
5 Cahill's Affair J Gutierrez 5 121
3 Get Well J Whitaker 5/2 121
7 Lady in Silk W Antgrgi III 3 121
1 Blue Button Camacho-Flrs 12 121
2 Goin Out Tonite C Doll 15 121
4 Steffie Du Bois L Mawing 8 121
6 Five Horizons G Mitchell 7/2 121
8 Party Hearty Girl J Zunino 8 121
SCRATCHED: Charismatic Hope

Cahill's Affair didn't do much in her last race when taking a big drop in class, but she was stuck in the No. 9 post and faced a tough group. Get Well made her career debut at a mile, losing by a head, and now cuts back in distance. Lady in Silk held on for second in her last race, which was at this distance.

3 5 ½ furlongs, purse $4,200, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Goldledue L Mawing 3 121
3 Cautious Affair J Gutierrez 5/2 124
5 Evil Urges M Anderson 6 121
2 Zilver E Kubinova 8 116
4 Speedway Trick G Mitchell 8 124
6 Proud Cozzene R Bowen 6 121
7 Double Bluff J Zunino 7/2 124
SCRATCHED: Canterbury Road

Goldledue can lead gate to wire with a clean break. Cautious Affair is tough at this level, but he might find this distance a tad short for him. Evil Urges has been third five times in 15 starts at Emerald.

4 6 ½ furlongs, purse $4,500, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Lipoma Fir E Kubinova 2 116
5 Our Marshal Cahill Camacho-Flrs 5/2 121
2 Mutiny Bay J Rosales 3 121
3 Ringo's Gold W Antgorgi 4 121
4 Flying Jack L Mawing 12 121
6 Secret Element R Bowen 10 121
SCRATCHED: Awesome Toccet

Lipoma Fir is consistent and his usual race would give him an excellent chance to win. Our Marshall Cahill broke through in a big way in his last race, winning by 7 ½ lengths, but he might be better at 6 furlongs. Mutiny Bay fits well with this group but is winless in 13 starts on real dirt.

5 6 furlongs, purse $7,100, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $5,000/$4,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
1 Sasha B D Hoonan 6 123
3 Tullamore Dew R Bowen 8 120
10 Akina L Mawing 3 120
2 Ducoti J Gutierrez 7/2 120
4 Eyes On My Heart W Antongrgi 15 120
5 Tasya M Anderson 8 123
6 Sun City G Mitchell 8 123
7 Roxy Skylar Camacho-Flrs 20 120
8 Outing Mail J Zunino 15 120
9 Clandestiny E Kubinova 9/2 115
This is one of the best betting races of the year, with a large, evenly matched field. Sasha B has lost to three very hot horses in her last three races. She might be the fastest in the field, and if she breaks well, the No. 1 post should help her. Tullamore Dew woke up in her last race when dropping to this level, finishing second. Akina was claimed for $3,500 out of her last race, and she can handle the jump up in class.
6 1 mile, C and G (colts and geldings), purse $50,000, 3-year-old, Coca-Cola Handicap
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
5 D'honorable One L Mawing 8/5 122
1 Makors Finale G Mitchell 5/2 121
7 City Twister D Hoonan 5 117
2 First Last Chance J Zunino 20 115
3 Brady's Kat J Matias 6 117
4 Havanna Red Camacho-Flrs 15 114
6 Edge Forward W Antgegi III 8 115
8 Don't Be Coy Roy E Kubinova 12 114
D'honorable One has never raced this far, but he should be able to handle a mile. Makors Finale finished in a dead heat with the top pick to win the Auburn Handicap earlier this month. City Twister was a disappointing fourth in the Auburn stakes.
7 6 ½ furlongs, purse $7,100, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $7,500
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
4 A Belle and a Cat J Gutierrez 8/5 121
2 Ms Eagle Eye J Matias 7/2 119
3 Wave Rider Camacho-Flrs 4 121
1 Devils Dragonfly E Kubinova 5/2 110
5 Pretty Darn Good J Zunino 9/2 115
A Belle and a Cat broke her maiden despite a troubled trip in her last race, and she found a good spot for her first try against winners. There is a lot of speed in the race, so it should set up well for a closer like Ms Eagle Eye. Wave Rider is trying to recapture the form she had in April when she won by 5 ¼ lengths.
8 1 mile, purse $10,000, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $10,000/$8,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
5 Tweetie Pie L Mawing 2 119
2 Allison Ridge E Kubinova 4 111
3 Call Me Cinderella W Antngrgi 5/2 113
1 Angels Can Be Wild J Gutierrez 6 119
4 Lilly's a Jewel D Hoonan 5 119
6 Lonely and Free G Mitchell 6 121
Tweetie Pie won by 7 ½ lengths at this distance last year. Allison Ridge has won three times at the meet, including twice at this distance, but this is a tougher group than she has been facing. Call Me Cinderella has won two straight, but she has never run this far.
9 1 mile, purse $50,000, 3-year-old, fillies, Irish Day Handicap
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
2 Talk to My Lawyer L Mawing 6 118
1 Royal Moses G Mitchell 7/2 117
7 Exclusive Diva J Gutierrez 1 120
3 Muchas Coronas W Antgergi 10 115
4 Lady Hokulea Cam.-Flrs 6 117
5 Champagnendcaviar Matais 12 113
6 Sweet Saga D Hoonan 12 116
Talk to My Lawyer gets a better post and a much better distance. Last year's champion 2-year-old filly has a good shot at a decent price. Royal Moses was second, 8 ½ lengths behind Exclusive Diva in the Seattle Handicap, but the latter got stuck with a brutal outside post.
10 1 mile, purse $5,100, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming $5,000
PP Horse Jockey Line Wt.
3 Hankhankmcclank W Antngrgi 5/2 118
6 He'll Rockyou E Kubinova 2 113
5 Sentimento L Mawing 7/2 118
1 Vegas Boy J Zunino 6 118
2 Cigar Box Cam.-Flrs 5 124
4 Lucky Lafleur D Hoonan 15 124
Hankhankmcclank is still a maiden after 15 starts, but he won't find a better spot to graduate. He'll Rockyou finished ahead of the top pick in his last race, but gets a tough outside post. Sentimento has been in the money in three of six starts.

BEST BET: D'honorable One
