Seattle Game couldn't hold off the red-hot Champali Lace in her last start, but she was more than 4 lengths in front of the third-place horse. She figures to be a heavy favorite, but is the obvious choice.
Clemens Brook has three wins and a second in four starts at the meet. She was claimed back by owner David Tollett for $5,000 out of her last race after he lost her for $3,500 in April.
Touch of Elegance was last year's claimer of the meet at Emerald, but she hasn't been the same since she was claimed from Frank Lucarelli's barn in September.

SCRATCHED: Strange Luck
This is the first career start for all of these 2-year-olds. Innocent Love was a $60,000 auction buy, and her 4-furlong workout on June 3 was the third-fastest of 67 that day. Her dam has produced four horses who have started, and all have won. Train Freeze has a trainer, Tim McCanna, who does well with first-time starters, and her dam has produced nine winners from 10 starters, including one stakes winner. Agoodlawyer Willdo has been working out well. She is her dam's first starter.

Who Gives A Hoot is having a tough time advancing from the nonwinners-of-two-races classification. She has been second three times in her past four races, including her last race when she overcame a bad start from the No. 1 post. Tarabunal flopped as the odd-on favorite when she dropped to this level in her last race. Debbie Hoonan riders her again, which is a good sign. Just Smile 'n Wave has one win in 24 races, but she has been third five times.

SCRATCHED: Party On the Lake
Zairsacat might be able to get an easy lead against this weak group. Tribal Rythum is the likely favorite after three solid races to start his career, but he doesn't have great early speed and the outside post will likely mean a wide trip. Tekela Reserve has finished second and third in two career starts, both at Portland against maiden allowance company.

SCRATCHED: Gdanz Xpress
Dare Me Devil drops into a spot where he has been very tough in the past. He has a very slight edge in a great handicapping race where several have a legitimate chance to win. Howmuchisit has lost twice as a heavy favorite here after arriving from Southern California, but he was second in his last race despite a bad start. There are a lot of early speedsters in the race, and Epic Cast appears to be the fastest.

Binky's Sister was second at 17-1 in her last race while facing a tough group for this level.
Angel Unaware drops to her lowest level, but she has other early speed to contend with and 6 ½ furlongs might be a bit longer than she wants.
Say What hasn't won since at least 2010, but she has been second in three of 10 starts at Emerald, including her last race.

Famous Jessica is stuck outside, which is bad at this distance, but she is one of just two horses in the field to run this far (lost by a head in her last race) and seems to run well every race. Opening Buzz blitzed maidens in her last race. Smart Code gets another try at this distance after being a well-beaten fourth as the favorite.

Sis's Sis is a multiple stakes winner at Emerald who is dropping to a career-low level for her 5-year-old debut. She has been working out well for her return.
Appealing Resume has been in solid form in Northern California and has won nine of 24 career starts.
The Gang and I was running in stakes races last year, but has been in poor form recently. She could rebound with the drop in class for a solid trainer.

Showme Yourfriends was a stakes winner last year. Trainer Tim McCanna claimed him for $20,000 two races ago, and it could turn out to be a great buy. Rocky's Quest might get an easy lead as the rest of the field likes to come from behind. Zayda, who won two stakes for 3-year-olds at Emerald last year, makes his yearly debut running in a claiming race for the first time.

Oh So Macho stretches out back to a mile and should be leading early. There isn't a lot of other early speed in this race, making him a big threat to lead all the way. It's Our Pleasure gets another try at his favorite distance after running fourth as the favorite. Tiz I Is has finished third two straight times at this distance and level.
