TUMWATER — Frank Garber of Kirkland won the boys title and Caroline Inglis of Eugene, Ore., the girls event at the Pacific Northwest Junior PGA Championship on Sunday at Tumwater Valley Golf Club.

Garber, 16, had a two-day total of 140 to beat Christopher Petefish of Wauna by one shot. Inglis, 18, also had a one-stroke win, her 146 total edging Megan Haase of Spokane.

With their victories, Garber and Inglis qualified for the Junior PGA Championship, July 31-Aug. 3 at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind.

• Cyclist Kiel Reijnen of Bainbridge Island, riding for Team Type 1-Sanofi, won the King of the Mountain jersey at the TD Bank Philadelphia International Championship.

• Junior lightweight Joel Diaz (10-0, 9 KOs) kept his perfect record intact with a fifth-round stoppage of Emmanuel "The Butcher" Lucero (23-11-1) on Saturday at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma.
