Husky Stadium collectibles to be sold online / NW Briefs
Collectible items from Husky Stadium, including seats, signage, benches and game-worn football jerseys, will be sold online from 6-8 p.m p.m. next Wednesday.
Collectible items from Husky Stadium, including seats, signage, benches and game-worn football jerseys, will be sold online from 6-8 p.m. next Wednesday.
"We have heard from a lot of fans who hope to collect a piece of Husky Stadium before it is renovated," said Chip Lydum, associate athletic director for operations and capital projects.

Groundbreaking for the stadium renovation will be Nov. 7, two days after Washington hosts Oregon. The Huskies will play their final home football game of the 2011 season at CenturyLink Field on Nov. 26 in the Apple Cup against Washington State.
Volleyball
Lindsey Wodrich had a season-high 20 kills for Seattle Pacific, but Northwest Nazarene rallied to upset the 19th-ranked Falcons 17-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-12 at Brougham Pavilion in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. SPU fell to 13-5 overall, 7-2 league.
Soccer
• An SPU goal by Blaine Carver in the 74th minute was disallowed because of an offside call, and the Falcons men (8-2-2, 3-1-1 GNAC) settled for a 0-0 tie at Montana State Billings (5-7-1, 1-4-1).
• Carson McKole scored the winning goal in the 77th minute as Central Washington (6-3-3, 5-2-1) beat Western Washington (6-4-2, 5-3-0) in a GNAC women's game in Ellensburg, 2-1.
• San Francisco (5-9-0, 2-1-0) beat Gonzaga (7-5-2, 0-1-2) in a West Coast Conference women's match in Spokane, 1-0.
Tennis
Andrew La Cava, a Whitman College player from Seattle Prep, lost 6-2, 6-2 to top-ranked and defending champ Dillon Pottish of Emory University in the National Small College Championships in Mobile, Ala.
