Live chat with Evan Lysacek & Rosalynn Sumners
One year removed from winning a gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, American figure skater Evan Lysacek is one of the headliners that will be performing in the 25th Anniversary Tour of Stars on Ice.
The show is coming to KeyArena on Feb. 25 and features a stellar cast of figure-skating greats, including Sasha Cohen, Canadians Kurt Browning and Olympic gold medalists Jamie Salé & David Pelletier, as well as two-time Olympic gold medalist Ekaterina Gordeeva of Russia.
Lysacek, who is also a two-time U.S. champion and the 2009 world champion, was joined in the skating chat by Edmonds native Rossalyn Sumners, who won three U.S. titles, the 1983 world championship and the silver medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics.
Lysacek and Sumners teamed up to talk about Stars on Ice, competing at the Olympics, their successful skating careers and more in a live chat Feb. 10 on seattletimes.com.
