Rewind: Chat with former boxing world champion Greg Haugen

A native of Auburn, Greg Haugen was one of the top boxers in the world at both the lightweight and light-welterweight classes from 1986-1993.

During his 17-year professional boxing career, he won three world championship bouts and squared off with several ring legends including: Vinny Pazienza, Pernell Whitaker, Hector "Macho" Camacho, Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini and Julio Cesar Chavez. He finished with an overall record of 40-10-1 with 19 wins by knockout.

Haugen talked about his fighting days, the state of boxing in 2011 and much more in a live chat on Jan. 12.
