Live chat with ESPN broadcaster Kenny Mayne
Kenny Mayne has been a fixture at ESPN since 1994, hosting a variety of shows, including SportsCenter, for the global sports network.
A native of Kent, Wash., Mayne spent the early part (1982-89) of his broadcasting career working as a weekend sports anchor and news reporter for KSTW in Seattle.
He currently serves as the host for ABC and ESPN's horse racing events and also stars in ESPN's first scripted web series, Mayne Street. In the show, which just kicked off its fifth season, he plays himself in a fictionalized version of life at a sports television network.
Mayne will share his thoughts on the Seattle sports scene, his career at ESPN, the new season of Mayne Street and much more on Friday at 10 a.m. on seattletimes.com.
