Live chat with Chip Hanauer and Tayler Malsam
A deep passion for motorsports has brought legendary hydroplane driver Chip Hanauer and up-and-coming NASCAR driver Tayler Malsam together.
Hanuaer, who ranks second on the all-time unlimited hydroplane victory list, has spent the past few years mentoring Malsam and sharing advice on what made him so successful.
Malsam made his NASCAR debut in 2008 in the Camping World Truck Series and is currently driving the No. 10 Toyota Camry for Braun Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
The Seattle natives will be available to answer your questions about hydroplane and stock car racing and much more at noon Tuesday on seattletimes.com.
