Jake Locker won the Guy Flaherty Award, the Washington football program's top team award, and Chris Polk, Donald Butler and Erik Folk won MVP honors at the team's awards dinner Wednesday night at the Westin Hotel.
Locker, a junior quarterback, returned from an injury-shortened 2008 season to start every game this season. He passed for 2,800 yards, third-most in UW history.
Polk, a redshirt freshman running back, and Butler, a senior linebacker, were named most valuable players on offense and defense, respectively. Folk, a sophomore kicker, was the special-teams MVP.
