LADY OF WINTER ($20K yearling purchase) makes her 2008 debut, and she's in for a tag for the first time. MILLE MANITO displayed some decent speed in her comebacker to finish third of 10. MONDAY MYSTERY will be ridden by Ricky Frazier for the first time after a couple of decent efforts. Frazier, who won three races Thursday night, entered the week 0 for 12 aboard Blaine Wright runners.

10 Oh Joy Werner-Hagerty 6 110
HAPPY HOLLY let a 3-length lead slip away with 100 yards to run three weeks ago as the 5-2 favorite. She'll clear a way and maybe hold on this time. SKIES THE PLAN will be a big price because she beat one rival in two starts last year. Barn is fantastic off the long layoff, and this seems to be a grab bag. VELOCITY CITY brings an 0-for-20 record to the table, and she'll get bet because she was facing better last year in California. Trainer Steve Fisher entered this week 8 for his past 157 (5 percent) at EmD.

TAHOE QUEEN has been working quite slow in the a.m. for trainer Vince Gibson. Sire Tahoe City was 4 for 16 with debuting 2-year-olds the past five summers, with eight finishing at least third. A COPPER PRINCESS is bred to begin her debut at a much higher level. Something must be amiss with the Washington-bred filly. RED HIGH HEELS is bred to win early for trainer Chris Stenslie, who entered this season 0 for 10 with debuting 2-year-olds since 1996.

5 Go With Gusto S Martinez 3 118
FLEETHAWK couldn't win as a 3-year-old, so now he's back against maidens as a 4-year-old. It would be neat to see the son of the great race mare Fleet Pacific make it to the winner's circle. PONCHO ($45K yearling purchase) tried some tough customers in two starts in Northern California. Trainer Howard Belvoir hits around 14 percent with shippers and only meets five in this dash. AL'S PAL ($75K yearling purchase) attracts leading rider Kevin Radke. Trainer Neil Knapp was 2 for 20 the past five years with debuting runners aged 3 and up.

11 Speed War G Mitchell 10 124
12 Mountains of Green R Frazier 5/2 124
HE'S JOKIN' showed a bit of talent in his maiden win, and now he's dropping into a $4,000 nonwinners-of-2 race. He returns sprinting after an awful try around two turns. OCEANBEACH has the inside post and enough early speed to stay in Lane 1 throughout the turn. PETER'S CHARITY nabbed his first victory in his last start, paying a nifty $14 to win. The second-place finisher in that race came back to win Thursday night.

8 Stolen Gal T Cunningham 6 123
10 Lainey Lu R Frazier 10 123
TAGLINE, who hasn't started in six weeks, looks like the obvious winner, but he'll be no higher than 2-1. Jockey Seth Martinez entered the week 18 for 53 aboard Mike Chambers-trained runners, but the average winner paid a paltry $5.20. BOCALLI was claimed for $3,500 by trainer Frank Lucarelli (22 percent first off the claim with a $2.40 ROI). She was very impressive in the slop two races back. FREEFUR, who hasn't done much in two starts at the meet, did win twice here last summer, paying a good mutuel in both.

2 Devilish Fact G Baze 9/2 120
4 Coach Sween S Martinez 3 124
6 Tillman's Image J Gutierrez 6 120
ORE BRAIN was pulled up in last while facing much tougher. Now trainer Sharon Ross drops the 5-year-old a bunch in class, and all we can do is scratch our heads and wonder: What happened last time? Hoping and guessing he's just fine. BRAINSTORM, who has never won consecutive starts, will be ridden by Kevin Radke for the first time. He was all out to win four weeks ago, so he could regress a bit. LOTTA GAMBLE tries softer after losing for the third straight time at Emerald. He sauntered into town winning five in a row in Arizona.

WHY TOMORROW draws a good post and should be in the top three throughout the 8-furlong contest. DANCING LAURA beat one when facing better earlier this month. Trainer Dale Koler entered the week winless at the meet after winning 3 of 12 starts last year. JAZZY'S HAT TRICK has a good record at the 1-mile distance but does draw the outside post.

LITTLE RED EAGLE is in good form and did break his maiden at the 6 ½-furlong distance at Turf Paradise. MUTAK GOLD came off a lengthy vacation to beat maidens for trainer Jim Penney. BLUFFED YA is another to win his most recent start, sitting behind the front-runners and passing late. Who knew the gelding could pass? Well, he did at 20-1.

K D IMPLOSION finished last in her last start — 16 lengths behind the winner. The last time she got beat that bad (17 ¾ lengths) she returned to run a good second one year ago. WINNING WEAVE reunites with Juan Gutierrez, and they teamed up to win a race last year at 16-1. LOVELY LAURA makes her second start after being claimed for $3,500.
