Today, I ran into Cynthia Reed and Carol Danylchuck, friends attending their third and second Olympics. Reed, of California, and Danylchuck, from London, Ontario, were busy taking pictures of the Olympic torch when we stopped to chat.
Reed explained that she had arrived Vancouver, B.C. with absolutely no tickets:
Don't worry, her homemade signs clearly worked. Reed managed to score several tickets to events including speedskating, luge, cross country skiing and Tuesday's victory ceremony with Bare Naked Ladies.
