New Seattle Art Museum director Kimberly Rorschach announces Miró show
Rorschach should look within SAM
Here’s some free, unsolicited advice for Kimerly Rorschach the new head of the Seattle Art Museum [“Rorschach selects Miró exhibit as her first major show at SAM,” NWThursday, Feb. 7]. Forget bringing in fancy European exhibits until you fix what you inherited here in Seattle.
It’s way past time to get rid of those godawful ugly cars with the blinking lights hanging from the ceiling. File the thought under “it seemed like a good idea at the time” and quietly take them down and send them to the crusher where they belong.
