Gender-neutral language pursued by Washington state officials
Changes are just “busy work”
Incredible! Our state Legislature is struggling to find ways to reduce costs and meet budget goals and we instead have legislators creating busy work [“State law moves toward gender-neutral language,” NWMonday, Feb. 4].
Why are our elected legislators not searching out state government spending waste instead of trying to change the English language?
