Seattle gun buyback
More police, not buybacks
How naive that the city of Seattle thinks a gun buyback will get guns off the street [“Seattle wants another guy buyback,” page one, Jan. 29].
None of the guns bought had much of a chance of being used in any crime. Buying more won’t do anything except waste taxpayer money.
How many criminals turned theirs in? Save the money; hire an extra policeman.
