Bipartisan plan for immigration legislation on the way
Obama’s overspending
I find it very difficult to understand why the president has to waste money going to Las Vegas to sell an immigration plan that has already got legs in Congress [“Senators come up with immigration plan,” News, Jan. 28]. A bipartisan group of senators has done a good job (for once) drafting ideas that make sense and it should be given the chance to put together a bill to fix the problem.
For once, this president should let the system work. I know he thinks he is the only one with ideas and I also know he is spending my money trying to convince the younger Hispanics that he and the Democratic Party are the answer, but if he were interested in anyone besides himself and his party, he would stay home and work with Congress.
