Local immigration advocates seek reform
FAIR should not be considered a credible source
In “Local push to change laws on immigration,” [NWTuesday, Jan. 29], Lornet Turnbull turns to Ira Mehlman of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) for a quote on proposed changes to immigration policies.
The Southern Poverty Law Center characterizes FAIR as a hate group.
Is this The Seattle Times’ attempt at fair and balanced reporting? It seems to be rather the worst of he-said/she-said reporting.
