A third sports-radio station for Seattle
One station should cover national playoff game
There are now four sports-radio stations in the Seattle-Everett area [“Seattle gets a third sports radio station,” sports, Jan. 3]. So you’d think one would have carried the Green Bay-Minnesota playoff game Saturday.
But no, and according to the schedule for this Saturday, it will be the same. Neither playoff game gets radio airtime. Yet sports-radio program hosts suggest this is a sports town.
Can somebody let the program directors out of their locked closets so they can see that Seattle has residents having arrived here from around the country with interest in games other than just the Seahawks?
