Market redesign aimed at linking waterfront, downtown

Lynn Thompson’s piece on the new Market redesign [“Market, waterfront link seen in terrace proposal,” NWSaturday, Jan. 5] got me thinking: Once the tunnel is finished, and the connection between downtown and the waterfront completed, is there anyone in Seattle who will look back nostalgically at the old viaduct? I think not.

Thank goodness for those people in our city who had the vision, and the tenacity, to make this happen.
