Tuba Man attacker arrested in Munchbar shooting
Improve criminal-justice system
So the Tuba Man’s vicious beating death was only worth four years in detention for the murderer [“‘Tuba Man’ killer sought as suspect in fatal Bellevue bar shooting,” news, Dec. 25]? Seattle will never be a safe and civil place until it faces up to its woeful criminal-justice system. And please don’t scapegoat Munchbar, which has now been closed forever, with its many employees jobless.
Ja’mari Jones should have respected the “must be 21 years of age to enter” sign posted at every bar in this state — the main responsibility for breaking that rule was his. Then again, he has demonstrated a blatant disregard for our weak rules and regulations.
