State plans to add I-5 lane for $23 million
Costly infrastructure changes
Remarkable it will take Washington State Department of Transportation four years and $23 million dollars to re-stripe Interstate 5 through downtown [“It will cost $23m to add third I-5 lane, state says,” NWWednesday, Jan. 2].
But, in some ways it may make sense. Aren't these the same folks running our ferry system?
