Relocate elephants to sanctuary
To the Seattle City Council members, please make 2013 the year when this city and county made the compassionate and sensible decision to re-home Chai, Bamboo and Watoto to sanctuary [“Protect the elephants,” Editorials, Dec. 31].
Please make sure the task force to inquire into the living conditions and well-being of the elephants is comprised of experts independent of the zoo industry.
