Ballard commuters still face traffic with RapidRide buses
Focusing on the negatives
Thanks for a thoughtful, generally positive and overall optimistic story on the RapidRide [“RapidRide buses not so fast everywhere,” page one, Nov. 28]. It's impressive that the C Line is exceeding projections for ridership and succeeding in cutting travel times a bit. Too bad Times headline writers picked through the article for the most negative thing to highlight.

Slowing down non-RapidRide commuters
RapidRise may not be any faster or more efficient than previously, but at least the new configuration has increased congestion and slowed down the rest of us. I love it when intersections are clogged because a bus ahead is stopped in the middle of the street.
