New dental providers increase access
Dentists protecting profits
As an unemployed person with no dental insurance I would personally benefit from a midlevel dental provider [“Dental therapists aren’t the right fit,” Opinion, Nov. 29].
I have diabetes and need regular dental care to maintain my health. But finding free or affordable dental care is nearly impossible.
What’s the use of more dentists if they are not accessible? It sounds like the dentists just want to protect their profits rather than help people get access to preventive dental care.
