Port commissioner's budget proposal includes funds for interns
Subsidized by King County residents
I read with interest the article about Commissioner Rob Holland wanting individual interns for each of the Port of Seattle commissioners [“Port commissioner seeks funds to hire own intern,” NWTuesday, Nov. 27]. He suggests up to five at the cost of $40,000 to $55,000.
Attention, Mr. Holland: Don't even go there as long as the Port of Seattle is subsidized by the residents of King County through property taxes.
