New cameras target school-zone speeders
No more revenue games
Traffic camera foes unite. The time has come to fight back, to retake control of our right to drive as we see fit, to put to bed, once and for all, the overzealous intrusion into our lives by grasping, money-hungry governments that impose inconsiderate and unjustifiable penalties on our driving behaviors, only to satisfy their insatiable and shameful lust for funding [“New cameras to snap school-zone speeders,” page one, Nov. 13].
We must show them we will not play their revenue games any longer. Refuse to ignore yellow or red traffic signals. Scrupulously obey school zone speed limits. Religiously observe construction-zone restrictions. Never fail to yield right of way to pedestrians. Deny them the revenue.
Stop sniveling and whining and join together to finally strangle this unjust intrusion into our freedoms.
