Sandy is second-most-costly storm in U.S.
Diversion of resources for East Coast recovery
Imagine if instead of wasting so many of our resources, both human and financial, in Afghanistan they could be used on the East Coast to help with the cleanup and recovery [“Sandy’s costs may be second only to Katrina’s,” News, Nov. 2].
Just think what could be accomplished.
