Terms of release for alleged rapist awaiting trial
Unfair luxuries for attorney
I am appalled that Danford Grant has been allowed the luxury of home monitoring while awaiting trial for multiple premeditated rapes with a weapon [“Conditions for jail release set in attorney’s rape case,” NWWednesday, Oct. 31].
Surely if his name had been Juan Gomez and his work had been mechanic, he could not have successfully argued that it was just so inconvenient for him to be in jail. After all, poor chap, he had to have quality time with his lawyer and his colleagues to try to beat this rap. Because he’s wealthy and he’s white, somehow this makes sense. Really?
