Superstorm Sandy disrupts presidential-campaign trail
Highlights importance of planning ahead
As some are writing that Sandy shows why big government is needed, I think you will find that this is another very strong message that we must do a much better job of planning ahead [“Superstorm disrupts presidential campaign,” News, Oct. 30].
In order to progress and meet the nature of our current society, we cannot afford to spend so much time cleaning up after events we will be seeing more of. The “Three Little Pigs” was written long ago, but what we build and how we build will continue to be a major consideration.
