Gov. Chris Christie campaigns for Rob McKenna
We don’t want to be like New Jersey
Rob McKenna wanting New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to campaign for him is interesting [“New Jersey governor gives McKenna a boost,” NWFriday, Aug. 10].
New Jersey’s unemployment rate in June was 9.6 percent, worse than our state’s June unemployment rate of 8.3 percent. Christie may be a model for some people who applaud him for throwing public employees out of work, but little else of note.
I sure don’t want Washington to become like New Jersey.
