Seattle's days of summer are numbered
Not front-page news
First of all, no one living in this city needs to be reminded that our precious few weeks of warmish weather are already mostly past [“Sorry, but summer is almost outta here,” page one, Aug. 10].
We all live here, after all, and most of us probably venture outdoors occasionally. So, thanks for that.
But really now, a chart of weekly average temperatures as front-page news? This would even be considered a filler piece in the NWWeekend section. It being on the front page makes it look like The Times is not even trying anymore.
