Bellevue warehouse district revamp
A balanced report, please
Eric Pryne’s extended “report” on Bellevue’s Bel-Red rezone [“Bellevue warehouse district ripe for remake,” page one, June 14] in today’s Seattle Times is nothing but an extended endorsement of the planned rape of the area by developers and other members of regional oligarchy.
There is an extensive history of how this idiotic scheme came into existence; Times readers need to be provided some of this background instead of using scarce print space to embellish the nonsense provided by developers who plan to profit from the unneeded development.
I urge The Times to provide a more balanced review of this ill-advised project in future issues of The Times.
