Mitt Romney likely GOP pick
Jobs report
The Times quoted former Gov. Mitt Romney as saying: “Millions of Americans are paying a high price for President Obama’s economic policies ...” [“Jobs report leaves Obama, Romney campaigns wary,” seattletimes.com.]
Sorry, Romney — you’re lying again.
The Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives refusal to even consider the complete Obama jobs bill, which, among other things, would have fostered the rehiring of policemen, firemen and teachers — plus start government projects to rebuild America’s crumbling infrastructure — is one of the main reasons that this nation is having such a lackluster recovery.
Economists across America proclaimed that Obama’s jobs bill would have made a real dent in those unemployment figures — and fired up our economic growth.
