Seattle streetcar draws riders
Subsidized transit

While I suppose I should feel glad when Gabriel Campanario reports ridership is up on the South Lake Union streetcar [“Seattle’s streetcar drawing riders,” NWSaturday, March 24], it’s not exactly comforting that this appears to be mainly from Amazon employees, hardly in need of taxpayer-subsidized transit.
