A veteran broadcaster for more than 35 years, Bob Rondeau has been the play-by-play radio voice for UW football since 1980 and basketball since 1985. His signature calls are beloved by the Husky Nation.
He has been honored numerous times for his outstanding work and is a five-time winner of the Washington State Sportscaster of the Year award. He was also inducted into the Pacific Northwest Football Hall of Fame in 2009.
Since 2002, Rondeau has been joined on basketball broadcasts by former Husky guard and assistant coach Jason Hamilton, who serves as color analyst.
Hamilton was a two-year starter in 1994-95 and 1995-96 and became the third player in Husky history to top the 100-assist plateau in consecutive seasons. He also registered a school single-game record nine steals at Eastern Washington in 1996.
Rondeau and Hamilton talked about the Huskies' exciting run to the Pac-10 tournament title, their chances against Georgia in the NCAA tourney and much more in a live chat March 17.
