Memphis Grizzlies complete season sweep of Sacramento Kings | NBA

Mike Conley and ex-Washington Huskies player Quincy Pondexter led the Memphis Grizzlies past the host Sacramento Kings 89-87.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Mike Conley scored 25 points, making the go-ahead basket with 30 seconds left and leading the Memphis Grizzlies to an 89-87 victory over the struggling Sacramento Kings on Sunday night.

Memphis has won five of its last six games. The victory gave the Grizzlies (52-25) a four-game sweep of the Kings for the first time in franchise history.

Ex-Washington Husky Quincy Pondexter scored 17 points on 7-for-13 shooting for Memphis and Marc Gasol blocked two shots in the final seven seconds.

Sacramento's DeMarcus Cousins contributed 22 points and nine rebounds. Former UW Huskies guard Isaiah Thomas had 18 points, eight assists and six rebounds.
